Update: Yes, this Is Our Land!

And Yes, we are allowed, and we even must, defend our homeland.

But true defense begins within - with a commitment to peace in our own communities.

Not by intruding into foreign territories and stirring up conflicts, even if unintentionally.

The thought that we know foreign people better than they know themselves is a dangerous fallacy.

Our True Task

Our most important task is to foster peace amongst ourselves as fellow human beings. To teach each other better manners, better perspectives, a healthy attitude, an open mind, and the ability for mutual support with love, #agape - this is the core of true freedom, true prosperity, and true peace.

How do we cultivate good and solid friendships? How can we strengthen our community, improve the situation, and reinforce our unity? What opportunities exist for activities that build and foster trust?

How do we manage to meet each other again simply as fellow human beings? By acknowledging each other in our vitality, by simply loving each other despite everything, and by treating each other with genuine respect, dignity, and humility. By seeing that we all want to develop for the better and that none of us is perfect in this endeavor. But we become better when we support each other, rather than leaving each other behind - be it left, right, front, back, top, or bottom.

Through unity, we all become the best version of ourselves.

This leads us to a unity of spirit and ultimately protects what is important to all of us: our families, our children, our homes, our traditions, and our way of life.

So let us focus on what unites us, not on what divides us. For only then can we understand what drove us apart.

Only then can understanding with the rest of the world succeed.

We in the West have often been raised with a closed attitude. This prevents us from truly understanding new things. We must unlearn this closed-mindedness to become truly open.

Love goes out to all the republics of this beautiful, vast, and colorful earth.

May the sick soon recover their physical, mental, and character strength. I pray for all of us.

This is our land, and only we can defend it together. Now is our watch, so let's go! For this is our land! We only have this one, no matter who thinks they need to play the "boss" right now, because a country can only be led well with united forces!
